About Us
Islamic Academy of South Jersey (IASJ) is a non-profit, tax-exempt private school educating Pre-K to 6th grade and is recognized by the New Jersey Department of Education.
IASJ opened its door in 2014 as the first and only full-time Islamic School in Southern New Jersey. IASJ strives to produce students that can, and will InshaaAllaah, benefit future generations through the practice of good manners and the understanding of leadership. Students and teachers at our school enjoy a special bond rooted in respect and gratitude for one another.
We are constantly updating our academic curriculum, which is based on the New Jersey Department of Education standards as well as the National Curriculum Standards. This ensures that our students receive quality education to the greatest extent possible.
Currently, classes are offered for Pre-K3, Pre-K4, Kindergarten, and Grades 1 – 7th. Every year, IASJ hopes to add a new grade level until grade 12 is achieved.
IASJ is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:50 PM September through June.
Our Vision
Our vision at IASJ is a generation of Muslims and citizens raised upon correct knowledge and manners, who are beneficial to themselves, their family and friends, and to society as a whole. Our students are taught to be constructive, helpful, beneficial in every aspect of their lives in every way they can to whom we can pass the torch of responsibility for all future generations to come, by the will of Allaah.
Our Mission
The Islamic Academy of South Jersey’s mission is to incorporate Islam and promote it through a quality education with high standards in an Islamic environment. We are committed to the development, education and growth of our students by providing first-class education for students to succeed in their academic, professional lives and religion, InshaaAllaah.
We encourage our students to be conscious Muslims who seek to improve themselves please Allaah. With Allaah’s help, we strive to prepare our children to become caring role models and cooperative Muslim citizens in their communities to better serve humanity.
